These beliefs weren’t obvious to me—they felt like ‘just the way things are.’ I did everything society told me to do. I went to college, earned an MBA, served my community, and worked tirelessly. However, despite my efforts, success seemed elusive. I remember before my first successful company, venting to my wife, saying, ‘I’ve built the harbor, the pier, the lighthouse—where is my ship?’

Then it struck me: I couldn’t wait for success to find me; I had to create it myself. I realized that my own limiting beliefs were the true barriers—not the market, not the products, not external factors.

I decided to challenge the notion that ‘if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.’ I began to trust and empower others, bringing in talented team members and delegating responsibilities.

Once I broke free from those self-imposed constraints, my business didn’t just grow—it soared. I achieved new sales records, and more importantly, I gained the freedom to focus on what truly mattered to me. I wasn’t tied to daily operations anymore. I could choose to work on my business or enjoy precious time with my family.
